A prayer to start each day

The following prayer is an adaptation of the words of Thomas a Kempis (first phrase) and other quotes pulled from a chapter in Celebration of Discipline (Richard Foster). I've written this prayer on a small card and have had it on my desk for the past few days. I have not yet been consistently praying this daily before rising from bed (as I hope to) but the simple act of reciting it throughout the day has served to keep me mindful of my place and of the opportunities to serve others whom God brings my way. I've found myself more conscious of my words and actions toward others, and in that way alone it has been beneficial.

Lord Jesus Christ,
As You will; what You will; when You will.
I yield my body, my mind, and my spirit for Your purposes.
As it would please you, bring me someone today whom I can serve.
Let it be so.
