On Sunday Night both Ben and I taught through our key vision for youth ministry at Westwinds in 2007. These points emerged primairly during our two major planning sessions that took place over the Christmas break, though the ideas have been brewing in us for a long time. Here's what we see as the key concepts that will define us in '07:
1. Be fully present with God and others
2. Dream Big (our technical term here is "organic empowerment")
3. Provide tools for personal spiritual development
4. Demonstrate a renewed committment to friendship
5. Be missional
6. Continue to develop and enhance our programs (Remix & Merge)
7. Create atmospheres for new experiences
8. Go deeper with Jesus
