The Wednesday Night Group

Every Wednesday night for the past several months I have been meeting with a small group of guys who were my former students. They call it bible study and most of the time there are a few bibles floating around the room during our discussions, but there are lot's of times when we are just hanging out together. Noboby really "runs the show", we all just say what's on our mind, and no one is ever repromanded for drifting from "spiritual conversation". We just live. Last night we talked for a while about things we've seen God doing in our lives, and I shared a lot of the things that seemed to become a little more clear while I was in Cincinnati at the NYWC last week. Then we wandered upstairs and were all gathered around the computer playing with GarageBand for at least half and hour. It's a unique thing. I can't imagine hanging out with any of my former high school teachers. It's one of my favorite times of the week, and is a true blessing from God. I love those guys.
