What I see...
A chasm: I see a chasm between a dark mountain (representing those who live under oppression) and a light mountain (those who live in peace). The chasm forms an inverted peak (actual tip is unseen) that represents the deep inner struggle that takes place inside those who take up the cause of social justice.
A ray of light: I see a ray of light shining on the dark side (right) of the chasm. This light reveals that both sides of the chasm are truly the same. Look at the colors of the rock in that place and compare it to the left side. It is the same rock. The only difference is the presence of light. This ray represents hope that restoration is possible.
Five peaks: I see five peaks representing five keys to social justice: awareness, compassion, conviction, integrity, and community.
Two arms: I see two arms reaching for each other in the middle of the deep chasm. This represents the desire for the oppressed to join hands with the free, and the desire of the free to pull the oppressed out of darkness.
A road: I see a road inviting those who are willing to embark on a journey of peace for the future.
What do you see?
